Dawn Watch on America's Great Loop Adventure

 Thanks to friends and family who came out to our little going away party. Looking forward to the trip which could start in a week or two. Dawn and I are flying back to Ft Meyer's FL this Tuesday. Hopefully the technician I hired has the air conditioners and refrigerator repair and the bridge electronics installed. Nothing is certain on this adventure. Nothing except it will be amazing!  So Ben and I have been doing a bunch of boat projects. Today we were going to change 2 bad batteries in the afternoon.  Waiting on parts. I decided to run the half mile to the fuel dock to top off diesel and pump out holding tank.  No issues.  Had great biscuits and gravy breakfast.  I canceled a run to Cabbage Key for lunch due to predicted high winds but did run out into Charlotte Harbor to play with the systems. The port engine died due to those known 2 bad batteries.  Had to dock with one engine and bow thruster my first time backing into slip. Ben a big help on deck. No bumps or Bruises.  Later put in 2 new batteries and everything is fine. Except for 2 AC units and the fridge down. Such is boating.
